Essense Designs was founded by Wayne and Martine Harris in Western Australia over 18 years ago with the mission to design, manufacture, and wholesale their gown collections with exquisite style, superb fit, couture finishing, and extraordinary customer service.

Since then, Essense has maintained their standing as one of Australia's favourite bridal brands, and this year fellow manufacturers and retailers have recognised their work with two prominent wins at the September 29, 2015 DEBI Awards!

The DEBI (Distinctive Excellence in the Bridal Industry) Awards is regarded as the highest honour for design and manufacturing in the bridal industry, and is held in conjunction each year with the National Bridal Market Chicago. At this years ceremony, Essense Designs was awarded Best Bridal Manufacturer of the Year for Essense of Australia and Best Bridesmaid Manufacturer of the Year for Sorella Vita which recognises its strong designs, outstanding customer service, and commitment to building quality relationships with stores.

The awards come at an exciting time for Essense Designs - just on the heels of an extremely successful expansion into the European market. The company has also celebrated another prominent win this year in the UK, with bridal label Stella York taking home the Bridalwear Association's "Best Wedding Dress Supplier" recognition in March.
