Industrial Bohemian Romance {Spencer Studios}

Budding, blooming, and exploding florals inspired this romantic boho-chic stylized shoot, photographed by Meghan Spencer of Spencer Studios. What we love about this collaboration is how an industrial space with beautiful exposed brick can be made intimate and romantic by adding a few well placed vintage pieces, candles and blooms.

"Our theme was romantic boho, and the inspiration was in the florals. Our original location plan went out the window due to bad weather, but in moving the space we wanted to show off how simple elements can be beautiful. The bride and groom wore simple outfits, all in white, cream, and tan," shares Meghan.

All of the vendors came together over a luxe inspiration board that really intrigued them, going for an industrial bohemian style that was soft and romantic. Weddings, events, and vacations planner, Shelbi Britton , worked with Meghan to bring together the vendors team that collaborated on the shoot at A Touch Of Whimsy Events warehouse. The space is used as a warehouse, meeting space, and shoot space. All of the props and rental items were also provided by A Touch of Whimsey Events, accompanied by paper goods from Leah E. Moss Calligraphy . The team selected the Vivien gown from Jillian Fellers, a wedding gown designer based in Lincoln Nebraska, and paired it with blooms from Parsonage Events

"The venue, with its exposed brick and worn wooden floors helped us keep the backdrop simple while adding a little character and warmth. Sometimes simple goes a long way, and brings out the beauty in the natural surroundings and in the bride. We were wanted to encompass the idea of spring, so we used lots of natural greens, pinks, and yellow to make a statement. The flowers gave us the perfect pop of color."
