Amanda and Connor met in law school through a mutual friend. "We started spending lots of time together and by the end of first year, the verdict was in: we were falling in love!" Amanda laughs.

For their wedding day, the couple knew they wanted a celebration with a soft, romantic feel.

"One of our top moments was being greeted by a sea of streamers as we left the church! Hearing the cheers and seeing all those streamers welcoming us as husband and wife felt so amazing-and it made for beautiful photos," Amanda recalls. "The guests had fun doing it too and it gave passersby something to smile about!"

After getting married, the couple went on a carriage ride. "This gave us a few moments to spend with each other as husband and wife," Amanda says. "It was also fun to wave to all the people and accept congratulations!"

The couple had their first dance to the song "Dark Angel" by Blue Rodeo, performed by Connor's brother. "Although not your typical wedding song, this song was the first one we ever danced to together," Amanda explains.

In between the wedding band's sets, Connor, his brother (one of the best men) and another groomsman reunited their high-school band, hitting the stage for a reunion show. "The guests absolutely loved it. Not only did many of them not know about Connor's drumming talents, it really added more fun and kept the party going," Amanda smiles.
