Melissa and Jeremy viewed their ten-year anniversary as an opportunity for a wedding do-over. And, this time, there was even more to celebrate-two beautiful daughters (who made adorable flower girls) and a decade of marital success. The couple created their "perfect day" at the insanely gorgeous San Ysidro Ranch where they celebrated with an intimate group of family and friends. Here at GLW, we can't get enough of the dreamy elegance of Melissa and Jeremy's super romantic vow renewal as captured by Mastin Studio.

What made the wedding special and unique?

The wedding was a 10 year vow renewal for my wife and I. When we got married the first time, we skimped on pretty much everything. We tried to please everybody else but ourselves. The worst thing we did, is that we did not invest in an awesome wedding photographer. So, for our 10 year vow renewal, we decided to have a 're-do' and do it exactly the way we had always envisioned. Being a wedding photographer myself, our requirements were pretty high. We are so fortunate to have found Kirk Mastin to document our wedding, and Wilmarose Orleans from Lovely Jubilees to be our designer/planner for the vow renewal! The vow renewal is unique in the sense that it was just 11 of our absolutely closest friends & family. Our own daughters acted as our flower girls, and my best friend Nathan Nowack acted as the officiant. We preferred to have an intimate ceremony & reception and really enjoyed each other's company!

The gown is from Catherine Deane for BHLDN and the accessory is also from BHLDN. My wife loved the dress first time she saw it.

It was very important for us that the 10 year vow renewal also included our two daughters, Ally & Lauren. They both were our flower girls! We exchanged vows to each other, and made new vows to our daughters as well. Our alter was lined with photographs & memories from the 17 years we've been together. The bride's bouquet had a custom made locket that said "I love you, Kid!". Which was one of the favorite sayings from my wife's father. He unfortunately passed away a few years ago.

Everything! It was literally a "perfect' day! It was everything we had hoped for when we got married 10 years ago. And to see it all came together, and we got to celebrate with our loved ones, it was an experience we would cherish forever.

We met originally as blind dates to prom in high school! My brother at the time was dating a girl from a different high school. She invited my brother to her prom, and my brother didn't want to go by himself. So he asked his then girlfriend to set me up with somebody. That somebody turned out to be my wife 7 years later. There was no big surprise proposal planned. When I proposed, I didn't even have a ring. We just had a huge fight at my wife's then house. And it was one of those fights where you either get married or break up and go separate ways. At the end of the argument, I realized my wife wasn't arguing to be right. She was arguing for what was right for US. It was at that moment that I got down my knees and asked her to marry me.
