Romantic Ojai Barn Wedding: Lauren + Adam

Romantic Ojai Barn Wedding: Lauren + Adam

One of the major fringe benefits of working with insanely talented planners-slash-stylists (like Bash Please!) is the fact that they can help you create a clear visual direction for your day right off the bat. For Lauren + Adam, the first thing the Bash team did was create an amazing inspiration board that got everything started and made the design process that much easier. And we recommend this as a starting point for everyone, whether you're a DIY bride or working with a planner. It helps so much to get create a clear vision for the celebration.

The day that was crafted as a result of that inspo board was filled with stunning florals (the gorgeous work of Moon Canyon) and stylish rustic details + decor. And as you're about to see in a sec, Paige Jones captured it all to perfection! Before we jump right into the photo goodness, let's hear a little more from L + A about their wedding location + ideas for their day:

We both grew up in Southern California but have been San Francisco residents for years, so it was a tough decision on where to have the wedding. We saw about 20 to 30 venues all the way from Healdsburg down to Orange County. When we finally arrived in Ojai we immediately knew that this was the place where we wanted to say our "I dos." We love Ojai's slow-moving pace and focus on what really matters in life, community. That was our focal point for the wedding, bringing our communities together for a weekend of laughter and love. As far as the style of our wedding, we opted for a rustic romantic vibe and overall wanted it to feel like "us." We had custom brown leather suspenders made for each of them. To top off their look, one of our best friends made custom bow ties with a variety of fabrics. These bow ties each included a gold "muffin" pin, which represents Adam's nickname for me, "Muffin." Embarrassing at times, yes. But most of the time, endearing.

Lauren carried a beautiful garden rose + ranunculus bouquet tied with ribbons in shades of blue.

We love the shades of pinks, reds + ivories in the centerpieces...
