You just know it's going to be a fun day when a couple begin their planning by choosing entertainment.

Arnie and Kamila did just that for their August wedding and their guests had a blast with the country fair theme. The stripy fairground inspired stalls were hand made and ensured many smiles all round.

I adore this happy vibrant day, from the pretty florals to the stylish attire and THAT chocolate cake. Yum.

Thanks so much today to Photomadly for sharing these super lovely photographs.

THE PROPOSAL | 26.12.2011. On a cold but sunny December bank holiday on Rottingdean Beach, Arnie proposed in a spot that meant a lot to us, with his great grandmothers ring. In complete shock, I'm not really sure what I replied, but after composing myself of course I said yes!

THE VISION | A fabulously fun day where everyone could enjoy a drink (or two), eat some scrumptiously yummy local food, play some games, have a dance and enjoy each others company.

THE PLANNING PROCESS | Planning began in the summer of 2013, whilst I was on school holidays before going back to study for my final year at university. We managed to get the main things booked like the venue, catering, photographer, band and flowers which freed us up to get creative. We had established pretty soon on that we wanted some games and activities for our guests on the day, Arnie came up with the idea of a funfair theme and I drew some sketches of my vision for some funfair stalls. We put our idea across to Peter at the venue, and he agreed to build them. Delighted with this we worked together with Peter to paint them and get them how we wanted. We could never have created such an amazing display if it wasn't for Peter. We owe him a HUGE thank you. Once we had our theme everything else followed, having spent many hours on Pinterest looking for inspiration. As the main areas were being taken care of there was one other very important part to the day, and that was the alcohol! Being Polish, it wouldn't be a wedding without plenty of vodka! My dad was travelling from Poland and brought a selection of different flavoured vodkas for our celebration, which thankfully went down a treat on the day!

BUDGET | Our biggest spend was on the venue (catering included) which was totally worth it!!

THE VENUE | We both had a vision of what type of wedding we wanted and we set out to look at venues. The very first venue we saw was Pangdean Barn and we fell in love with it. Everyone there was so friendly and the place was stunning, a bonus being only 5 minutes drive from where we live in Hassocks. At the time of viewing it was not possible to have our ceremony there so we continued our search. After a few weeks of looking, nothing compared to Pangdean Barn so we decided to find a separate venue for our ceremony. We came across Alfresco restaurant on Brighton beach. From the moment we walked in we were taken away by the stunning views and thought what better place to get married!

THE DRESS & ACCESSORIES | Dress - Dessy, Lucy Bennet Bridal Wear. Shoes: Vivian Westwood, Melissa from Pretty Eccentric Brighton, belt from Etsy, Jewellery all borrowed from a very good friend.

FINDING THE DRESS | I already knew what style of dress I wanted, it was just a case of finding it! After visiting several dress shops I found THE dress! It took the vision, research and help of my bridesmaids to re-design it into my perfect dress, but once we had the idea I knew I would end up with a beautiful unique dress.

GROOM'S ATTIRE | Jump The Gun, Brighton.

THE READINGS & MUSIC | We had one reading which was read by my sister in law and bridesmaid, Anna. It was Anna who found the Bob Marley quote about love and friendship. We were touched by the words and how beautifully she read it. In the evening we had an 8 piece Motown band which was recommended to us by friends. They had everyone up and dancing all night long!

BEAUTIFUL BRIDESMAIDS | I truly couldn't have done any of it without these girls. They were there for me every step of the way, supporting me, and gliding me through a process I knew nothing about. It bought us all closer together and confirmed to me what I already knew, how amazing my friends are!

THE FLOWERS | Viva Verde Florist, Brighton. We wanted seasonal flowers with lots of foliage. After visiting a few florists, Viva Verde was the only place that understood what we were looking for as well as having the added assurance that they knew the venue well.

THE CAKE | Beautifully hand crafted indulgent chocolate cake decorated with fresh fruit by my very good friend and ever so talented Hayley Moisley.

YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER | PhotoMadly - Erika Szostak and Dade Freeman. Erika was absolutely amazing throughout! Having a baby just two weeks before our wedding, she kept us posted every step of the way and made sure there was a contingency in place for any unexpected surprises. Both Erika and Dade provided a service that was above what was expected and we couldn't be happier with the photos. They captured the spirit of our day better than we could have imagined.

THE DETAILS & DÉCOR | The wedding invites, save the dates and all stationery was designed by my very talented brother at ickledesign.wix.com/ickle. We wanted all our decorations to be in keeping with the vintage funfair theme, buying lots of bits on ebay to keep costs down, including personalised love hearts and pink candy floss. Rather than providing our guests with wedding favours we bought lots of prizes for the funfair stalls ready for our guests to win!

THE HONEYMOON | A 3 week long trip to Argentina and Brazil in December. It was an amazingly memorable trip.

MEMORABLE MOMENTS | There were quite a few. Having my father walk me down the aisle, holding Arnie's hand throughout the ceremony, the delicious food which lined our stomachs, the laughter coming from our guests after the many vodka shots which were consumed throughout the evening, dancing for hours with all my friends and family and the excitement in everyone's faces when they won the gifts on the stalls. I love that when I go to my friends houses they still have the gifts they won from our wedding day.

ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES | Start planning early and delegate jobs to your partner, friends and family. Most people close to you want to be a part of your big day so being creative and arranging fun decorating evenings with friends allows you to have more control over your budget and makes planning fun. Remember, it's just one day so don't let the build up stress you out and enjoy every moment.
