Heirloom vintage black wedding dress inspiration

Oh my. The depth and intrigue in this one-on-one workshop editorial from Wedding Sparrow favourite Laura Gordon Photography is truly beautiful. Paired with a vintage boudoir gown and then a black vintage wedding dress from Gossamer Vintage, this inspiration is moody and elegant. The styling from Mallory Joyce really ties together the ambience of this wonderfully dark and emotive editorial and the hand written calligraphy from Stephanie Fishwick brings the whole look together. We only wish we saw more daring brides who wear darker vintage gowns on their big day! Would you?

From Laura Gordon Photography: "Inspired by the beauty of Verulam Farm located deep in the hills are Charlottesville, Virginia, Mallory Joyce translated her vision into a stunning masterpiece during my most recent 1:1 Workshop Session. Each element of this shoot was thoughtfully curated to help teach and inspire. We wanted to maintain a soft, feminine feel without losing the moodiness of the overcast sky and the bare branched trees during this wintry day in December."
