The Oscars are all always about the glitz and the glamour from head to toe, but at the 2015 Academy Awards, we noticed a red carpet trend we weren't predicting: the absence of some engagement rings! For some celebrities, their giant diamond engagement rings are an essential accessory, but this year, we saw a few stars swap their sparklers out in favor of their wedding band and a simple nude manicure (plus a few other super-gorgeous pieces of jewelry!).

The Best Actress winner sufficiently shone with her gleaming Oscar statue, custom-made Chanel dress and a few diamond rings (no big deal, right?), so we love that she slipped on her pave diamond wedding band as the perfect finishing touch. (PS: That's Julianne's husband Bart Freundlich's hand on the left! So sweet.)

The Academy Award presenter wore a statement-making embellished Miu Miu gown with a peplum top on the red carpet, so Kerry kept her jewelry minimal -- including the diamond wedding band her husband Nnamdi Asomugha gave her.

Keira was a glowing and ethereal mama-to-be on the red carpet in her whimsical Valentino gown, so she kept it simple with her accessories, including a jeweled cocktail ring and her slim gold wedding band from husband James Righton.

All eyes were on Zoe's beautiful post-baby body and her form-fitting blush Versace gown, but we spied her classic gold wedding band from husband Marco Perego right away.
