We adore parents-to-be Regardt & Mariska's beautiful blue maternity shoot in honour of baby Sion, who arrived just a few weeks later. We love that they chose to do their shoot among the golden fields on their own farm at home in South Africa where their baby boy will grow up, and we adore the soft light and golden glow captured so beautifully by Charl van de Merwe. Proof that sometimes all you need are some pretty light and colours to make beautiful things happen.
After seeing Charl van der Merwe Photography's work, and absolutely adoring it, we decided we needed to do a shoot with him before our baby boy Sion was born. We knew we were expecting a boy, so wore a soft pastel blue which looked beautiful in the natural setting of our farm, and home, near Polokwane in South Africa.I am so excited to be a mother; to be able to give Sion the absolute best I can and to see him grow and develop into the person he is going to be. To cultivate joy and make him feel he can be just who he wants to be.
