I'm a secret fan of winter weddings... there's just something so lovely about gathering your family and friends together in a warm and cosy venue, with a real fire and candles aglow.
I"m also starting to hope that so-called 'out of season' weddings are on their way out, with cool blue light and the possiblility of snow winter weddings are surely filled with romance? Film photographers Yana and Dmitry from Verona Lain Photography are inclined to agree, so they shot some beautiful winter bridal inspiration to show how us just how romantic a winter wedding look can be using dresses from Heart Aflutter Bridal and rose-filled bouquets by Vanessa Birley.

Yes, it might be a bit chilly but you don't want to postpone your most important day because of the cold, do you?Just keep in mind that God is in details, and the you don't have to dig too deep to find the inspiration. We have always been inspired by nature because we believe that it holds the keys to aesthetic life. For this shoot our tones of choice were Beige, Forest Green and Tan - the strength of these colours created a dramatic and relaxed feeling. Neutral tones will work the best for a winter event and flowers will save you from looking like a snow queen. Which ones to choose is completely up to your taste, just keep in mind that lively and rich colours is the key.On a cold day you may want to cover yourself with nice fur shrug or stole (think of classic Hollywood movies). If you are a friend of a nature choose an artificial fur - it will look and feel amazing. A winter wedding is very romantic event and it is the only occasion when dark evenings are welcomed.
