I love Venice. Ever since visiting as a college art student way back in 1990-something this water-y city stole my heart and ignited my apprecation for beautiful photography (back then I was behind the camera but now I prefer to curate others' images right here!) Mr B still owes me an anniversary trip to discover the romance and beauty of this historic city (let's hope he gets the hint) but today we'll just have to live vicariously through these gorgeous images from the ever lovely Claire Graham Photography.

DESTINATION: Venice, Italy

We stayed at the Ca' Nigra Lagoon Resort, located in the Old Town. Overlooking the Grand Canal it's close to the hustle & bustle of St Mark's Square, yet nestled in between the narrow streets.

I've been to Venice quite a few times now and I never get bored of this pretty and romantic city. I wanted to go and explore when it wasn't high season, as it gets outrageously busy! Venice is such an elegant city offering delicious food, good wine and amazing ice cream! There are endless amount of things to do from people watching in St Marks Square, to visiting the food markets and of course losing yourself in the maze of canals lined by beautiful soft coloured buildings.
