This post is such a treat! We're bringing you a heaping dose of versatile bayside styles curtesy of award winning hair and makeup artists, Suzanne Eden & Julie Wardley! These two (and a dream team of local vendors) teamed up to showcase three different looks for Chesapeake area brides seeking a style all their own. Each styling features a fabulous gown, florals, and a complimenting invitation suite all captured by the incredibly talented Lindsay Anne of L.A. Birdie Photography. I'll let Suzanne and Julie tell you a bit about each set of images...

Coastal Glam
The Inspiration: Hollywood Glam

We put a softened spin on iconic pin curl waves, added a red lip stain with a punch tinted gloss, and did the eyes up with fabulous falsies and a smokey eye effect. This throwback to the classic leading ladies is not complete without cheeks that accentuate a natural blush flush.

The Gown
ThisA-line dress, from Bustle on Main was detailed with chiffon ruching at the bust, a shimmering beaded waistline, and accessorized with a gorgeous beaded cuff! We adorned our classic bride in pearls, a stunning solitaire diamond, and a custom feather birdcage veil.

Sandy Romance
The Inspiration: The Hopeless Romantic

Swept-aside hair in a face framing, loose woven bun was held in place with a gorgeous diamond olive branch studded pin. This bride's eyes are soft and earthy with champagne, peach and bronze tones topped off with a well-defined crème liner and a flair of lashes. To sweeten her lips, we applied a stain using Julie Page Makeup's Naked Grape lipshine to contrast with the gorgeous pink hues of her custom two-piece gown designed by Jill Andrews Gowns.

This gown is a part of Jill Andrews StudioLine. Her strapless cupcake bodice is paired with a weightless ball skirt with seventy-five feet of hem. The separates can be uniquely worn with a mink for a winter coastal wedding, a bolero for fall, or bare shouldered for the spring and summer!

The Inspiration: Blue Lagoon Beauty
The Boho Bride

Our bohemian bride's hair has a salty and wave tousled ponytail- as if she just stepped out of the ocean and onto the shore. Her makeup is natural with bronze highlights on her cheeks and forehead. We designed her eye makeup with gold shimmer and mermaid green accents. A little mascara and a peachy nude cream lip color completed the look!

This custom piece was created by the locally and nationally renowned designer-Jill Andrews. This gown is cotton guipure lace. The plumeria and tropical leaf motif covers a custom dyed, flesh-colored bobinette and meanders down the skirt and up the straps. The bodice is corseted with bone and hand-wrapped silk while a pale sea green organza skirt flows and falls with the breeze. The diamond in the branch ring is an uncut black diamond with misshapen and jagged edges- it fits perfectly with the boho bride's overall natural look.

Born abroad, but raised as a Maryland girl through and through, Rebekah knew that her love for weddings made her a perfect fit for the Bayside Bride team. After interning for the blog in Fall of 2011 she worked hard to finish her degrees in English & Media and Communications at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Graduated and ready to return, she wants nothing more than to pass her love of event planning & weddings onto brides-to-be.
