A maternity, or bump shoot, is always so special so I can totally understand why Kat & Warren were excited to book their session with Ines B Photography as soon as they found they were expecting. They decided not to find out the sex before the birth, so picked a neutral location with shades of purple adding a delicate pop of colour. We adore Kat's floral crown!

Kat's story -

We always wanted to have a maternity shoot and a new born session. It was a celebration to a new beginning and change in our lives so we wanted to capture all the happiness and serenity before the baby arrives

We trusted our photographer with the location. Ines chose to do it in Pinkney's Green, a small village between Marlow and Cookham. She shot both of our UK & SA wedding and we felt comfortable with what she suggested. The green was absolutely stunning in the late summer evening and reminded us about our wedding in South Africa with long grass and purple skies. We brought some colourful balloons and later on decided to use just pink and blue. We decided not to know baby's sex until the day he/she was born so it was nice to mix between the two. Ines took us in a field of purple flowers as I had a purple dress on. She also made me a floral crown to go with the dress!

I'm looking forward to experiencing the bond between mother and child, bringing this little person up and watch them grow, develop and become a little person.
