Choosing a colour palette for your wedding can be tough.

Often, couples will go with something tried and tested, like autumn hues, monochrome colours, or pastel shades. So it's not often that we see colour combinations that we'd never have expected.

Which is why we were so drawn to this beautiful garden inspiration shoot by Sanshine Photography and Charlotte Munro.

(Well the colours, and all the fabulous hair-spiration of course!)

With soft pinks and cerise, sky blue, buttery yellow and bright green, it's the not the kind of palette you'd expect for a romantic finish.

But by using classic English garden blooms, like hydrangea, roses, carnations and peonies, the results are instantly whimsical and charming.

Add some pretty place settings, stunning dresses, and fabulous hair accessories, and we're utterly inspired!

Not to mention this trailing fresh flowers hair style - we predict lots of long-haired brides will be borrowing that look in 2015. (Who needs a veil when you can style blooms to look this pretty!)

The shoot came about when San and myself were chatting over lunch. We've worked together before and both have a love of natural light, bright colours and everything pretty and so wanted to create a shoot that combined all of these elements in a chic, modern way. We wanted the shoot to inspire brides everywhere, with something for everyone, from demure birdcage veils to extravagant floral headpieces. We were thrilled to get the stunning Ashdown Park Hotel on board as our location for the shoot and on the day we were lucky enough to have the most beautiful weather, perfect for showcasing chic bridal looks and bright florals.

So many pretty ideas - I love the headband for shorter hair, and that fresh flower fascinator is just amazing!
