A beautiful annual tradition has been developed in my son's school. Every year all students become Santa's helpers and prepare presents for some other kids. There are two rules: number 1; you draw lots with a name of the person you have to present with something and number 2, the gift must be handmade. The action usually ensures a positive atmosphere, but this year's pick turned out to be a real disaster for my son. The name on his draw ticket was a female name. He was devastated as he claimed he hadn't known what to make for a girl. Well, fortunately, he was convinced by my idea to make a bracelet. I suggested Rubber Band Bracelets, but he told me that if he had to make something for a girl, it must be very original.

The project he liked was posted by Erica on 'Honestly WTF'. She made lovely Heart Friendship Bracelet using two colors of embroidery floss. Creating a heart pattern involves a simple modification in traditional Friendship Bracelet, but it gives a fresh look to them.
