The romantic Summer wedding of Suzie and Chris has me so excited for Summer. Clear Summer days, bright Summer blooms and beautiful love stories in amongst it all. Angela Higgins was there to capture it all!

"Chris and I met on a night out with friends in Subiaco. I was with my girlfriend and Chris was with a bunch of mates celebrating a friend's birthday. We decided we wanted to leave and go somewhere else however once we were outside that I decided (on a complete whim) that maybe we should stay for 1 more drink. As I was making my way back to the bar, Chris turned around and almost walked straight into me. So we really met by accidentally bumping into each other!"

Suzie and Chris' wedding kicked off with floral inspired stationery by Mitchell & Dent. The fresh bouquets in shades of pink, coral and purple created by carried through the Summer colour palette.

The bride wore a lace illusion gown from Mariana Hardwick with red lips as a bold touch by Milla Makeup, Her maids? Splendidly sweet in pink asymmetrical one shoulder gowns from Studio Collections.

Suzie and Chris chose University of WA, Sunken Garden for their wedding ceremony, the bride noting, "Chris and I ultimately wanted a big party with all of our favourite people in the world there to celebrate. Our ceremony and reception location were fairly easily chosen - we wanted an outdoor wedding and a reception with a view! The sunken gardens at UWA was an obvious choice because it's not only beautiful but we both went to University there so it has some sentimental meaning also."

Of their photographer Suzie remarks, "What I loved about Angela is that her photographs just look so natural and beautiful. The use of light is just stunning - we wanted something quite classic for our wedding that would stand the test of time!"

Suzie and Chris chose waterside restaurant for their reception, noting, "We loved the simplicity of Acqua Viva and how close it is to the ceremony venue."

Just Cakes created a tower of chocolate cakes topped with fresh berries.
