When it comes to crafting elegant, ethereal wedding gowns, Marchesa never fails to deliver. Designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig once again showed us why Marchesa dresses are some of the most sought-after pieces for brides-to-be. Their Fall 2015 collection was all about experimenting with texture, silhouettes and luxe fabrics. Timeless, feminine designs were given a dramatic boost with peplum elements, texturized details and ruffled cuts - one stunning piece even donned a delicate Watteau-style cape woven into the gown's intricate embroidered back for a dreamy feel. Intrinsic to the collection's key looks were an array of floral lace accents and striking crystal beadwork. The duo also played with skirt designs and hemlines, with gowns showcasing tiered, ruffle and tulle bottoms as well as tea-length organza skirts and short frocks. Necklines and sleeves were equally diverse throughout the collection, which included an embroidered high-neck gown featuring short sleeves as well as a fit-and-flare lace peplum piece with sheer long sleeves. For brides hoping to depart from traditional all-white looks, Chapman and Craig also included a splash of soft champagne to their collection for a warm, romantic feel.
