I absolutely LOVE today's alternative first dance love song. I'm a huge fan of Bright Eyes - their album I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning was a regular in my headphones whilst I was travelling so when ever I hear Connor Oberst's distinctive voice and that indie rock music that supports it, I'm always transported to happy times.

This track, off of their new album due to be released this month, encapsulates everything that we love about Independent Love Song. It's quirky, fun, the lyrics are great and above all their is not a cheesy love line in sight.
