Sydney designer Louise Alvarez is a classic bridal designer whose work continues to stand the test of time.

Debuting her brand over 10 years ago, Louise continues to create couture bridal gowns for brides who are looking for a gown of timeless elegance. Louise works one on one with brides to consult and design a gown that suits their own wedding and personal style. What follows are 4-5 fittings, including a toile, to ensure the couture gown is perfectly cut and draped to compliment the wearer's body.

For the latest collection, Louise took to Hyde Park hall to capture the softly draped gowns which feature chiffon skirts, French laces and my favourite - splashes of unexpected colour! I'm particularly in love with "Clementina", a gown which features water colour detailing cascading over the bodice. A classic shape with plenty of colour!
