Matthew Johnson Studios beautifully captured the subtle femininity of Jennifer and Martijn's Texas navy and orange wedding. You can see every last detail by clicking right here to visit the full gallery. Trust us it's worth more then just a glance if you love what you see so far!

What would the bride have done differently?

I wish I would have not stressed out so much about every detail like I did throughout that year of planning. I would have also asked for help with crafts and do it yourself projects from my friends and family instead of taking it all on myself. It could have saved me a lot of headaches. Also, do not get upset when your fiancée is indifferent to the ribbons, flowers, and other small details of the wedding. I believe that they do trust your judgment and want you to be happy. These words of wisdom have been spoken many times before but, it is so incredibly important to relax and enjoy your wedding day that you worked so hard to plan.

The Flowers

The flowers all around the venue made everything feel so feminine and Brooke from Pollen Floral Art did an amazing job creating flower arrangements from a list of my favorite flowers. To honor Martijn's Dutch heritage we chose tulips in our centerpieces, which are very popular in the Netherlands. We had Mexican wedding cookies for dessert served along with the wedding cake to honor my Hispanic heritage.
