I love Emma and Rob's big day. Everything is just so well put together.

From the flowers, to the stationery, the table decor to the cake, everything was coordinated to perfection. Honestly, the floral details will have you swooning.

On the day, mist and drizzle surrounded Lulworth Castle, but somehow this made it seem all the more magical...the glowing yellow and purple light coming out of this huge stone building makes it look like something truly special is happening inside...

Which it most definitely was - just wait until you see the decor in the disco room and read about the delicious menu Emma and Rob served to their guests.

Emma was one of those Brides lucky enough to find her gown instantly - in fact it was the very first one she tried on!! And I think she definitely made the right decision, Heidi by Sassi Holford suits her perfectly and is just right for a wedding in a castle.

Emma the Bride:I tried on about 18 dresses before I tried on Heidi. It was the first and only dress where once on it felt instantly that this was the one, it sounds corny but I knew I was going to get married in it.

Dark navy suits for the boys was always in our minds, something we felt looked timeless yet suited everyone.

Lulworth Castle was where we went on our first date and we fell in love with the place with its charm inside. It was our first choice for our venue therefore, although we checked out various other places. Whilst we know getting married in England always carrys the risk of rain, getting married in April increased those chances so having a stunning internal venue was key. Paul Pinnock who runs the show there was fantastic, always keen to help, nothing was ever too much trouble, and he even arranged for the church grass to be cut and rang the church bells for us!

We wanted our wedding to be relaxed, romantic and intimate. Melissa at Nomad quickly got our vision having saved a truck load of photos of things we liked on Pinterest. We wanted to add some extra drama to the internal venue, so Melissa helped us arranged the drapes and rigging for the main hall where we did our first dance.

Melissa was again fantastic in ensuring the flowers were perfect, including replacing the Grooms button hole within 5 minutes when it was knocked during the day.

The cornflower blue of the bridesmaids dresses blended perfectly with the colour scheme we wanted all of the bridesmaids to feel and look like a million dollars.

The Groom's sister and one of the Brides best friends did the readings, including an extract from Jane Eyre, one of my favourite books. Music was a major part of the day as it's so important to us, having my Brother and Dad play whilst signing the register was very special. The string quartet playing the Beatles All You Need Is Love got the whole congregation singing as we walked out as husband and wife for the first time.

Having a few activities without going over the top was important to us. The photo booth and sweet trolley did the trick but then all our family and friends love a good boogie and The Brightside Band didn't disappoint in providing the perfect set to get their groove on after our first dance. We wanted to leave whilst the party was in full swing so the sparkler send off worked well in providing a fun and romantic end for us as we set off in the Rolls for the last time...

We were very indulgent and went with a theme of our favourite things for the food! The wedding breakfast was a starter of chicken skewers with a cider and apple chutney followed by a lamb shank and then a trio of desserts (who can ever choose one dessert?)

We fell in love very quickly with Dorset wedding photographer Paul Underhill's style, we aren't fans of posed shots and love the way Paul has captured the natural shots from the day, every time we look at our photos it's like being at the day all over again. Paul worked tirelessly and was a dream to work with.

We saw Alex's work from a friends wedding and again loved his relaxed style of filming and blending of music. A true artist and yet we hardly noticed he was there all day - a true professional given the amazing footage he obtained.

A lot of people played a big part in making our day special (my Mum handmade all the favours!), there are only two pieces of advice I would give. The first is to stay true to yourself as a couple - your style, what you both like and dislike. Everyone is there for you - it's a party not a performance!

The second is that it's never too early to get as many things organised as possible...I spent my Christmas holiday making the sign for the 'dance floor rules' and the frame of pictures of us as a couple.

Oh and lists, lists and more lists.
