Custom Wedding Tote

Of course we love that they used our Moose wedding tote for their shoot! Ideal for a Pacific Northwest, Canada, or Alaska wedding ... don't you think? They filled them with a bunch of fun goodies from Canada to enjoy - postcard and pencil, soap, chapstick, soda, coffee, chocolate and maple syrup.

Words from The Vendors

Abegweit meaning "cradled in the waves" is a home that was built in 1915 in Banff National Park. The historical Abegweit home was recently donated to The Whyte Museum and is now available for intimate weddings. I had often walked past the home that sits along the bow river and so I was excited to get to see the inside. When I toured the home I was immediately inspired by the glassed in sunroom and wanted to create an inspiration shoot based around that sunroom. I could imagine a couple saying their vows in that sunroom surrounded by blooms.

Steal worthy idea

I have fallen in love with the unique one-of-a-kind terrariums that Kyle Chow of Plant is creating and think they would make for wonderful wedding centerpieces that the couple could then use in their home to remind them of their wedding day. I think the tiny bottled terrariums would make perfect place cards when hand lettered by the talented Justine Ma. Imagine how special your loved ones would feel to arrive at their table with a hand lettered terrarium all their own to take home to remember your day. I like the idea of carrying over the vintage postcard idea to the table as well by using them as table markers when hand lettered.

Steal worthy idea

Being located in a national park where people visit from all over the world I thought it would be fitting to have a postcard guestbook. I imagined guests writing well wishes to the couple on vintage postcards taken of the area that would be stamped with custom postage stamps featuring photos from their engagement shoot. I think it would be great to have a relative or dear friend gather the stack of vintage postcards and mail one every week of the couple's first year of marriage to remind them of their wedding day throughout the year.
