Hey wedding lovers! This morning I'm on cloud nine after an amazing response to the launch of my new business Louise Beukes Styling yesterday! It seems rather appropriate then today that I get to show off some of my styling with our latest Style Guide! This month we've been inspired by mid-summer with a modern take on a rustic lavender & honey theme, a hint of the Mediterranean and countryside style. Oh my, just wait and see what the b.team have created for you...
On the table I used a gorgeous thick linen runner over a subtle white damask tablecloth, country-style plates and pretty ivory handled cutlery and a matching napkin. The wooden honey dripper makes such a cute favour - especially when paired with a sprig of scented lavender and tied with a bee-motif cotton ribbon!
For our rustic centrepiece, Liz from Bluesky Flowers filled a rusty urn with yellow freesia, lilac sweet peas and scabious, purple aquilegia, lavender, pale pink sweet avalanche roses and asparagus fern. The freesia and lavender make this display smell as beautiful as it looks, while the trailing asparagus fern adds a really authentic countryside touch. Just imagine a beautiful countryside venue with views over the lavender fields.... move over Tuscany and Provence, there's plenty of choice right here in the UK! We love Hitchen Lavender Fields, just add a tipi tent!
