Welcome to inspiration board Tuesday and I have another reader inspired board today - my French country wedding inspiration. French Wedding Style reader Amy emailed in as she is getting married at Chateau la Durantie and is having difficulties deciding on colours.

Amy is looking for a "french countryside theme but not too shabby chic" and is looking for a colour scheme that works with two bridesmaids with fabulous red hair. I do love a challenge and the results in my French country wedding ideas in green.

Green is a wonderful colour for any countryside wedding and will be striking against those fabulous redhead bridesmaids. To achieve an informal atmosphere introduce burlap elements as a table runner or wrapping for living wedding favours, to give a rustic charm to the style. For a marquee wedding, white folding chairs give it that country fete style, yet still provide an elegant styling solution.

If you are planning a wedding in France and can't choose between traditional wedding cake or macaron tower, why not have both in a super elegant white and green ombre macaron cake.
