Every so often I like to share a moodboard or two with you lovelies. In the past these glorious concoctions of delicious images, carefully curated from my favourite blogs and sites, were a far more regular occurrence but I confess I've probably been a bit remiss of late in sharing such inspiration with you.

This makes me sad. I have been a bad blogger. But I'm determined to redress the balance over the coming weeks and set about on my mission to inspire and invigorate you beauties once more starting with this Midsummer Night's Dream affair this afternoon.

This post is a bit of a departure from my usual inspiration posts however. Because I'll readily admit that as nice as it is to see the most wonderfully composed images slotted perfectly into a neat and tidy moodboard there's always a part of me that scratches my head and wonders where I'll be able to source that elegant vase or those calligraphed place names or even that elaborate headdress.

The lightening bolt feeling when your eyes land upon the most perfect cushion/desk/pair of sparkly shoes on paper yet you cannot for the life of you find a source for the god damn things and google won't play ball either.

Well far be it from us to add to your daily frustrations. This post will provide you with a link to each and every item that appears below should you take a shine to one thing or another. Yep we've scoured the very best of Etsy (because we love the blinking site!) to come up with a series of beautiful objects to help you plan your Midsummer Night's Dream inspired wedding...Let's hope they don't sell out eh?!

So you've decided to opt for a Midsummer Night's Dream Inspired Wedding have you? Well it's bound to be glorious...let me tempt you with a few things I found on my travels. Everyone knows that such a theme is woodland inspired, after all most of Shakespeare's masterpiece takes place in a wood, so it's only right to incorporate some flora and fauna into your decor.

I particularly love these delicate table numbers encircled by illustrated garlands at the top here which would compliment the ethereal wreath-like headpiece also pictured. And how about this bark covered guestbook for the well wishes from friends and family? Customise it with your names and wedding date for a special touch. And you can never have enough logs in your life; stack up thin slivers to build up interesting table centrepieces or chose larger chunks to double up as cake stands for your sweet treats. You could even cut grooves into a couple of the smaller logs to slot in table names or place cards for that final touch.

The bohemian bride wouldn't be seen without her delicate trinkets which is why these sweet golden disc necklaces are the perfect accompaniment to a whimsical frock or two. You can even have them engraved with the initial of you and your beau...adorable!

I won't lie - my heart skipped a beat when I spotted this beautifully illustrated 'over the moon' cake topper. Perfectly proportioned it's definitely one for the keepsake box once the big day is over. Remember to keep it stored flat to stop it curling up at the edges.

If you're not a fan of the traditional miniature spirit or sugared almond wedding favour why not give your guests a feather or two printed with a special message on instead. Plus they'll look super pretty at every table setting too!

If my engagement ring wasn't such a particular shape then I so would have chosen this beautiful twig-like golden ring for my wedding band. In fact every time I see it, it very nearly makes its way into my shopping 'cart' but I've managed to resist for now...perhaps one of you lovelies will buy it and wear it instead.

If you're going to 'do' flowers then I'd suggest really going for it for that maximum impact. Start by wearing flowers in your hair (cue The Lumineers here) and continue by emblazoning them on every single piece of your decor from your wedding program (how gorgeous is this one at the top left here!) through to your plates. I love the idea of commissioning two bespoke pieces of crockery, like this ceramic piece from Marley & Lockyer for you and your beau which can then take bride of place in your home after the big day is over.

If you can't run wild and look pretty on your wedding day then when the hell can you? So I heartily recommend that you buy the print above and hang it pride of place on your wall to remind you in the run up to 'I Do'.

Lolly, I hear you ask, what on earth do pencils have to do with a Midsummer Night's Dream? Well folks, it's my opinion that you always need a writing instrument or two at a wedding, be it for the guestbook or for jotting down answers to a bride and groom quiz. Frankly these beauties are too on theme for me not to include them...they do them in gold too.

Lastly if you're looking for a bit of grown up glamour then this delicately hand embroidered tulle headpiece will suit you down to the ground.
