Yuriko Larson from Vintage Origami Wedding Rentals & Decorating drew inspiration for this styled shoot from her father's love of rich, decorative southwestern patterns, which decorating her home in Lubbock, Texas growing up.

Aztec and Navajo patterns, geometic shapes and boho-inspired details filled this creative wedding shoot, which took place in Larson's kitchen and basement in Kelowna, B.C.

"I included lots of texture in the shoot with decorative rugs, leather furniture, wicker accessories and wood slab tables," explains Larson. "For greenery I used aloe vera plants and cacti that I purchased from my local hardware store and a variety of donuts from Tim Hortons." The wooden, geometric shapes used as a backdrop for the shoot were hand-cut by Larson's husband. Sante Fe Furniture provided furniture and wall decor for the shoot including the ornate rugs, glassware, rock arrowheads, wicker charger plates, ceramic skulls and metal arrow wall decorations. "That store is a gem of a find and I'm so thankful for the generosity and spontaneity of the owners," Larson adds.
