Just before Christmas I received an email from the team behind Brides The Show, asking if I wanted to get involved as an 'Official Blogger Ambassador'. Of course to be associated with one of the UK's top wedding shows is a complete honour, but Brides is just another level! I love that they pick only the most stylish, dedicated suppliers to exhibit, and partner with incredible brands (Laurent Perrier, anyone?!) to offer their brides something different. Brides The Show is more than just a room filled with (very beautiful) exhibitor stands, but wants you to get involved too, with live demonstrations in the Imagination Room, chats with the experts On the Sofa and a not-to-be-missed catwalk curated by Brides very own Fashion Editor. Last year's inaugral show created such a buzz, so needless to say Maxeen and I were excited to see what they had in store this year!

Here's our top picks and fab finds (and thank you Maxeen for the pics!)

Emmy Shoes, as always showcasing an absolutely stunning collection. These are pure Princess shoes, and I'm coveting every single pair!

The lovely Kelly Spence had her gorgeous Gilded Woodland Collection on display, such a beautiful, rich alternative to silver accessories. We also loved the back chain - a nod to one of the big Oscars trends this year!

Ritva Westenius' stand, as always, was full of beautiful beaded dresses that are simply designed to wow. I am such a huge fan of her style, with dresses cut to fit every shape and size, Designer duo Ritva and daughter Chenca have a real understanding of a brides's desire to look beautiful, demure and just a little bit sexy on her wedding day.

It was such a pleasure to meet Mary Jane Vaughan, her stand was drawing quite a crowd with it's eye-catching succulent wall (please can someone have this at their wedding?!). Her design was inspired, a celebration of spring with fresh blossom, romantic roses and candlelight juxtaposed against industrial lighting, reflective glass surfaces, and of course that silvery grey succulent backdrop. A real delight!

We received the warmest welcome at Emma Hunt, I'm a huge supporter of their work & loved seeing them bring their studio to life with their warm and cosy stand. Just look at that detailing!

We finished off the day at Eagle Eyed Bride's colourful & fun stand. They're one of our b.loved faves, and we loved seeing their new collections adding foiling and letterpress techniques to their repertoire! Keep your eyes peeled for more of this on the blog soon, and if you're a fan don't miss this fab competition where you could win your wedding stationer from EEB plus much, much more!

Also, a big shout out to friends of b.loved who we didn't get to capture on camera; Maids to Measure, Photography by Bea & Jude, Peach Blossom, Meringue Girls, Social Pantry & more!

It has to be said, the best part of our experience was the friendliness of each exhibitor - not just the ones we already knew but new finds too! We had a wonderful day discovering new ideas and being inspired!
