Alison + Matt were high school sweethearts who met at band camp back in the day! They tied the knot last July, at Studio 1342 in Los Angeles, with an intimate celebration filled with lots of modern + colorful details. They wanted the day to truly represent the two of them and their families, so there were tons of music-inspired styling elements designed by Amber Events. Love that they also hosted an intimate + traditional Chinese tea ceremony - with just their families - immediately prior to the ceremony. And the florals by Peony & Plum are bound to bring a smile to your face with an abundance of giant pink peonies, textural thistle + bright yellow craspedia (more commonly known as billy balls!). Thank goodness Studio Castillero was there to beautifully capture all of the goodness so we could share it with you guys today!

Matt: The exchange of our vows. I think we had taken great care in writing and memorizing our vows, and for a moment, it seemed like it was just the two of us, sharing heart-felt words that would bring us together for the rest of our lives.

Alison: The quiet moments where we were able to steal a kiss in the midst of the busy-ness around us and basking in the surreal feeling of finally being married and spending the day with your loved ones.

Don't sweat the small stuff - especially when you have a talented coordinator (shout-out to Amber) and lovely wedding vendors to worry about those things for you. Three months after the wedding, nobody will remember the color of your chair covers, what kind of dinnerware you used, or what kind of flowers you had in your arrangements. Instead, enjoy the journey, have fun the day of, and don't forget to dance your tail off.
