Marbleized Easter Eggs

Marbleized Easter Eggs

Christmas may have its sparkly magical moments but Easter is more abundant in family and religious traditions. One of my favourite is egg dying. The whole family gathers around the table to sit, talk and paint eggs. We've just counted and we're going to need 20 dyed eggs for Easter breakfast!

However, this year we'd like to try a new technique of Marbleized Easter Eggs which I found on Martha Stewart's blog. She gives six simple steps to dye the eggs and then she nestles each in its own bed of grass. You can use an egg carton for this nest or just put them on a plate. But when you are left with unused egg carton, have a look at Egg Cartons Decorative Mirror to up-cycle the wrapping.

What's your opinion on this egg dying technique? Do you know any others? Share your ideas on our fan page.

Six easy steps of how to prepare Marbleized Easter Eggs can be found here.
