From the Bride:
I'm incredibly happy I had bridal portraits taken a few weeks prior. This was not something I originally wanted to do, but my mama guilted me into it and I am so glad she did (mother really does know best!). The portraits were shot at Boone Hall Plantation over several hours and turned out more amazing than I could have ever imagined. I know my nerves would have shown had I waited until right before the ceremony! Having bridal portraits done beforehand allowed me to spend the hours prior to the wedding relaxing with my best friends instead of posing for the camera. Its so rare to have your loved ones in the same room - enjoy every second of it!

From Amelia + Dan Photography:
Kellianne Boyle and Peter Tang are the perfect pair. Kellianne actually caught the bouquet at a wedding we photographed a couple of years ago, so perhaps the myth is true.On October 27th, Kellianne and Peter said their vows at Saint Lukes Chapel in downtown Charleston, South Carolina. After the ceremony, the newlyweds made their way to Waterfront Park for pictures and guests headed to Marion's in the French Quarter for cocktail hour.

From the Bride:
I would advise any bride to hire an wedding planner. It may seem like an unnecessary expense at first, but a wedding planner will know exactly what vendors to turn to for the best quality and value. A few of my vendors were a little off the beaten path and, consequently, less expensive than some of the more prominent Charleston vendors. I truly believe I had the the kindest, most talented team for our big day!

From Amelia + Dan Photography:
Cocktail hour was held in the foyer of Marion's and guests mingled around the bar. The smell of warm apple cider filled the room as the specialty drinks, Panda's Potion and Thee Southern Belle, made their way around the room. Being the dog lovers that they are, Kellianne and Peter also had doggie bags for their four-legged friends, filled with handmade dog treats.

Beautiful crafted decorations to match her navy blue, green, and white color scheme were sprinkled around the reception. Keeping to the Southern charm of the décor, monograms could be found all around the room. Votives were scattered around the venue with custom pearl accents, handmade by the mother of the bride. Tables were set with beautiful floral arrangements of white hydrangeas and peonies with a green accent by Wild Flowers Inc. A plated dinner by B. Gourmet Catering came after a blessing. Guests enjoyed a salad and butternut squash soup, followed by their chosen entrees. After dinner and desserts had been eaten, the dance floor opened and guests congregated around the bar. The smell from Copper Pot Confections making fresh pralines on site in the foyer filled the venue and wafted onto East Bay Street.
Their beautiful cake by Twenty Six Divine, was a perfect match to the colors and theme, also complete with a monogram. The three-tiered square cake had a blue and green flower pattern on the bottom, monogram and polka dots for the middle, and a top-tier with white roses. Twenty Six Divine also provided apple pie pops which were in planters next to the gorgeous cake. As the night came to an end, Kellianne and Peter made their way to their Black Cab as guests lined up outside of Marion's and released silver balloons into the night sky, a perfect way to end this Southern wedding.
