It's an exciting off-season for Matthew Stafford.

The Detroit Lions quarterback appears to have popped the question to longtime girlfriend Kelly Hall. Her brother, free agent wide receiver Chad Hall, spilled the engagement news on Twitter and Instagram Monday:

Hall herself made a subtle nod to the engagement, posting a photo on Instagram of the happy couple eating ice cream -- note the impressive engagement ring. "Don't think I could be any happier!!" she said in the accompanying tweet.

According to the Detroit News, Hall and Stafford met when they were both attending the University of Georgia. He played football for the Bulldogs; she was a cheerleader.

The two have has been dating for years and seem like a couple that will be together 'til the end. They support each other:
