Country weddings will always stay a favorite to many! Today we have the privilege to share the wedding of Willem and Natasha at the beautiful Lezar Opstal just outside of Heidelberg. The day was captured by the awesome and loved Louise Vorster Photography and what a spectacular job she did. We are honored to share this wedding today and we hope you will enjoy it with us.

{I Propose} - Elaborate on how the two of you met or on how the proposal went down.

We met three years ago through a mutual friend, and this is how our adventure started. Willem surprised me with a weekend away to Lesotho, where he proposed to me in the Drakensberg mountains, at the highest pub in Africa. He had to ask me twice because I could not get a word out of all the excitement. It was cold, raining and misty - a perfect romantic setting completed with red wine in front of the fire place.

{Bride & Prejudice} - Express some memorable experiences you had during the planning.

Due to the fact that my sister was our personal wedding planner, we spend a lot of time together, bonding and exchanging ideas. Seconds after the pastor pronounced us husband and wife, the thunder struck and we regarded this as a special blessing on our marriage. The father and bride dance was also extremely special to me because we asked all the fathers/daughters and mothers/sons to dance with us.

{My Fair Wedding} - Describe an event that you feel was unique or even funny.

The countdown to our wedding was very exciting and interesting at the same time. We immediately fell in love with the venue, and they did not disappoint at all. Our food was exquisite. All the guests enjoyed themselves with giant lawn games, the grooms men had their hands full to get the guests to take their seats. The food was excellent, and a lot of candles created a romantic, modern, vintage atmosphere. My unique wedding cake that consisted of rice crispies, chocolate brownies and caramel popcorn. The guest book was a beautiful wooden wine rack which is displayed in our home. Our MC was a real treat with his voice overs of Nataniel, Naas and Nadal, we had such a laugh. Our day was a great love celebration with family, good friends and no regrets!

{Don't Tell The Bride} - Reveal something that happened behind the scenes.

The shoulder bouquets for our mothers and grandmothers were made, but unfortunately the responsible person forgot to give it to them.

{No More Wedding Woes} - Share your wedding advice for future brides.

Decide what is important to both of you, don't please other people and don't stress about the small things. Enjoy every moment of the planning and your special day. Pinterest is a must! Remember: Less is more ...
