Happy Mother's day to all of the lovely mummies out there including my own mum :-)

I thought today it would be nice to have a little muse about being a mummy myself. I became a mum four and a half years ago now, and it's been the hardest yet most rewarding adventure of my life. And I am about to do it all again for a second time. Ekk!

Bringing a little human being into the world, with no one to rely on but you as it's parents is a daunting prospect. In fact just thinking about it too much still scares me hehe. I love being a mother, for me, everything I work and strive for is now for A and our little family. A gave me the motivation to work extra hard at WWW and to overcome my anxiety issues. I am so very thankful for that.

Sometimes I want to pull my hair out and most of the time I feel totally unglamorous, tired and run down. But it is all so worth it for those moments. Times when A just makes me laugh for the silliest things, when he does the sweetest gestures or passes his energy and zest for life on to me. I love teaching him new things and seeing him grow into a little boy. I still can't believe he will be starting school in September, it's such a cliché but it really does wizz by.

So today I thought I'd share some photographs of A and I over the years.

Wow that's made me a little emotional hehe! And also makes me realise that I reallllyyyyy need to get my camera out more. I just hope I can be the best mum I can be to A, I know for sure I couldn't do it without the support of G and our families :-)

Oh and A brought this home from school this week, his first go at sewing, too sweet!

I hope you have a wonderful family filled day today XOXO Lou
