The seed for this combination of moody blue and rustic wedding inspiration was planted last week when we featured a beautiful outdoor wedding at Villa Catureglio, one of the prettiest destination wedding venues in Italy that we've seen. The blue of faraway tree covered mountains misted with Tuscan sunlight was simply captivating, and the bright green of the venue's lawns surrounded by dark poplars created a lush, paradise-like effect. There is something a little magical about combining a flat, almost aquamarine blue with warm browns and neutrals. Watercolor calligraphy invitations are perfect for this look and keep florals to a single tone to let the greenery shine through and complement the blues.
