Sabrina and Steven met during a health and wellness fair they were both working at. Chatty Steven was trying to get to know Sabrina better, but she was reluctant and told him to find her through Facebook instead not realizing that would be the first thing he did that very night. She reminisces that the rest was history.

After coming home from a tropical vacation together, Steven’s brother picked the pair up from the airport and dropped them off at home. As Sabrina entered the home, she was overwhelmed by the amount of flowers and candles that filled the room only to find a little kitten on the bed.  This was a touching gesture as they had just lost their cat a year prior. Upon closer inspection, Sabrina noticed the kitten had an engraved heart on its collar with the words, “will you marry me?” She turned around to find Steven on one knee with a ring in his hand.

Sabrina and Steven planned a beautiful winter wedding with their planner, Rena of Rena Elise Weddings. Together they opted for a traditional church venue for their ceremony followed by a reception at the majestic Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel.  They captured the essence of their winter wonderland with icy accents throughout their venue. Sparkling snowflakes and tea lights adorned the white trees on every table and beaded blue pears filled vases nearby. Sabrina admits her favourite detail of the wedding day was the wintry decor that Rena had created for them.
