Inspired by the beauty found in Kinfolk magazine, Lauren of Lauren Wells Events, Krissy of Pollen Floral Design, and Cambria of Cambria Grace Photography decided to host a Flower Potluck in their city, Boston, celebrating the end of summer and the beginning of fall. Such a fun idea – and love this idea for a unique + fun bridal shower! Teaming up with West Elm’s Fenway location, the crew was able to create a fun + relaxed evening filled with good company and beautiful flowers in a super inspiring space. Here’s more about the event from Lauren:

Each guest was asked to bring 2 bunches of flowers from their local farm or florist. After Krissy gave a how-to on floral crowns for the ladies and boutonnieres for the gents, everyone got to crafting something beautiful. Once the crowns and bouts were complete, everyone designed bouquets to decorate the tables, bringing so much loveliness + texture to the space.

The event was focused on a botanical + organic feel, while maintaining a bit of masculinity throughout. Our hand drawn logo inspired the beautiful paper suite designed by Smock, and the rest of the decor + design followed suit…

Throughout the evening, Flask & Funnel mixed up cocktails in line with the fall floral theme, and the Goodtime Stringband kept the party going with their bluegrass tunes. Mayflour Confections baked up the most beautiful botanical and herbal sweets, and West Elm MARKET provided some savory bites as well. All in all, the event was a wonderful night full of flowers and friends, both old and new.

The vintage-inspired marquee bar sign was a DIY. Love how it turned out!
