When looking for better ways to cater to our clients we first turn to technology for answers. We found Event-Cast an app that allows you to live stream your events. As a quick moving and instant society we are always looking for ways to be right there in the mix when it’s happening. Not everyone is able to attend events. Because of jobs, children, and unforseen circumstances we can miss some of the best moments with family and friends. For times like these, Event-Cast places you right there, but from the comfort of your home.  What I like most about Event-Cast is the ease and convenience in creating the webcast. To live stream your event all you need is: An account on Event-Cast  iPhone 3Gs and higher, iPad2 and higher, and iPod 4, Mac and Android Good internet connection A reliable person that can record the event What’s more appealing is the fact that anyone you send the link to can view it. You can use the web integration tool to inform your friends via Facebook, Twitter, and Email.  This is still an incredible app to use for kid events, weddings, birthdays, graduations, etc. What I like most is the sports scoreboard and logo feature.

Event-Cast gives you a scoreboard control panel which you can update, enter team names and notes. When you update your scoreboard your viewers will be able to see the updated score of the game and optional game notes while viewing your webcast. In looking at all the benefits of straming your next event live we can only think of a few drawbacks that you should take note. Most events last more than a few minutes. Baseball games, weddings, recitals, to name a few aren’t easy on your battery. Be sure to bring along an extra one if you want your audience to see everything.
