When we were sent this naturally beautiful woodland engagement shoot by Jordanna we just had to feature. We love how cute the couple are and we can really feel their intense love for one another. This shoot also shows you don’t need loads of props!! An engagement shoot can be pretty beautiful within a natural setting like a woodland.

Here is a bit about the couple and how they met and fell in love…

How did you meet? We met at a friends party in a rock bar. I fancied jake for about a year before – I was painted in gold as it was a egyptian but I didn’t realise I actually just looked like a simpson!!

How did Jake propose? After a long day at work jake picked me up and on the drive home asked me to pack a bag – he didn’t tell me anything about where we were going until we were at the airport. He flew me to Venice and proposed on a pier that was lit up with fairy lights – very romantic! We spent the rest of the evening drinking Prosecco and calling everyone in our phone books!

We picked Jordanna as our photographer because she is awesome!! We LOVED her style and her website really caught our eye as it has a lovely vintage, English country garden feel to it and as that’s the ‘theme’ of our wedding it seemed like a sign! We love all things vintage! When we met Jordanna we loved her personality and company which we though was really really important as we’ll be spending a lot of time together on the day!

Also the quality of the photos and natural way they are shot really swung it for us – none of the photos looked forced or posey

Above all things hopefully our wedding will be fun and relaxed! We just want everyone to have a great time celebrating our wedding and our two families joining together. The theme is vintage so there will be all kinds of vintage bits and bobs around.
